About Orientation Programmes

The Orientation Programme organized by the ICAI Placement Directorate is a focused career readiness initiative designed to prepare Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants (NQCAs) for the evolving expectations of the corporate and professional world prior to their participation in the Campus Placement Programme.

Conducted across major placement centres, the programme serves as an interactive platform where industry leaders, HR professionals, senior Chartered Accountants, recruiters, and domain experts engage with candidates and provide practical insights into the recruitment process, workplace expectations, emerging career opportunities, and professional competencies required in today’s dynamic business environment.

The Orientation Programme aims to enhance the confidence, communication skills, professional presentation, and interview preparedness of participants through expert sessions, panel discussions, and guidance on corporate etiquette, resume building, group discussions, and personal interviews.
